now that couple's twice as hot.

Pop on down to Target,
grab the new figurines.
They got the claw-popping action,
on the new Wolverines.

The brown and the gold?
I'll take the yellow and blue.
Hell, while your at it,
better give me Weapon X too.

Jump into the car,
and get them blister packs open.
Not loosing any pieces,
it's all I've been hoping.

Stop my the store,
and grab a Wizard magazine.
I gotta check on my stock,
I keep them fresh and so clean.

it was in the SD.
But compared to this monster,
it's a far cry to see.

Where a kid could meet his heroes.
Maybe finish out a set.
Some collectible cards,
the really hard ones to get,

We were thicker than thieves,
and there was honor among us.
Proud to be nerds,
and are numbers humongous.

And now this weekend long ad,
thinks its pretty hot stuff.
With its gallery of stars,
and all this "con-exclusive" stuff.

Well frankly my dear,
I don't rightly give a damn.
Take it out of Hollywood,
and give it back to the fans.

And yeah it's just paper,
and sure it's just plastic,
But the memories they make,
they go way beyond fantastic.

Cause the geek on the street,
with her big imagination,
she can stretch her intellect,
across this whole nation.

Gargoyles after school yeah
man was simply hooked
The character development
damn was really good

Way before my hipster was evident
Blisters on my thumbs
from playing sega genesis

Hanging at Duane’s
who had the Super NES
Playing all night
to prove and see who’s best

But Looking back now
i dont remember who won
I just remember the smiles,
I just remember the fun

I remember the Pogs,
I remember when Trolls
were just little dolls,
And not internet goals.

Now there's a side of me,
I'm guessing that you never knew.
You got the eyes to see,
I'll give you this much is true.

But it ain't on the surface.
